HR Compliance Specialist
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Onboarding Compliance Specialist to join our team in Bogotá. This role is critical in ensuring that all onboarding and employment eligibility processes are fully compliant while delivering an excellent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding compliance processes across the organization.
- Oversee background checks from initiation through adjudication and make final eligibility determinations aligned with FCRA and company policies.
- Administer and audit I-9 and employment eligibility documentation.
- Coordinate and manage drug screenings and visa/work authorization compliance.
- Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate and updated records at all times.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Operations, and Legal to support compliant hiring decisions.
- Develop and maintain compliance reports, dashboards, and tracking tools.
- Identify process gaps and drive improvements through automation and system enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and policy support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in onboarding compliance, background screening, or HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of employment eligibility, FCRA, I-9 compliance, and onboarding regulations.
- High attention to detail and strong decision-making skills in compliance-related scenarios.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
